Eat Genesis Vegan Restaurant Review

Eat Genesis is located on Commercial Street in Shoreditch, pretty close to Liverpool Street Station so super convenient if you work in the city or you are in Shoreditch. Eat Genesis is 100% plant based and also organic!

Eat Genesis is very hip and trendy which we guess is expected when located so close to hip and trendy shoreditch! It’s actually a vegan restaurant but with a crazy menu serving burgers, nachos, milkshakes etc you would never know it was vegan!

The interior is super pink, what most people know as millennial pink. We loved the pink vibes and the seats by the window at the front are also millennial pink- they are definitely the best seats in the house, especially for those insta pics! Luckily we were shown to our table and we were given one of these tables!

To order your food you head to the counter, they will give you a buzzer and when your food is really the waitresses will bring it to you. We aren’t actually too sure how the buzzer works entirely as ours didn’t actually buzz, maybe they are magic buzzers, hehe!

We ate vegan food a couple of weeks ago and we were not the greatest fans so we were a little nervous with what to order, we decided to share our food (again!) so that we could try a bit of everything!

We both ordered the same drink which was a Lo Bros Apple Cider Vinegar tonic with elderflower. We had not tried this flavour before and we absolutely loved it!

We first started off by sharing the panko avocado soft taco, the flavours of these were delicious especially the beans and we loved trying fried avocado for the first time! Once sampling this we knew we were in for a treat as it was very tasty!

For main we decided to share 2 salads the first one was a kale caesar, which came with generous slices of avocado and the most delicious (vegan) caesar dressing.

We also went a bit rogue and tried the Thai papaya and mango salad, this was super different but also super yummy! It tasted like summer in a bowl and the mango, oh my was delicious! It was quite spicy though so if you don’t like a bit of a kick then this might not be the dish for you.

We also had a bowl of the fries which came with tomato sauce and were some of the tastiest fries we have sampled! They are cooked in avocado oil and are gluten free we cannot recommend these fries enough, if you visit you have to try them!

After looking at the burgers we wish we had gone for a salad to share and a burger to share as they looked EPIC! Guess we will have to return to try the burgers!

There was further seating downstairs which is also where the toilet are located. As this seating was down in the basement it was quite dark down there so we were glad we sat upstairs! The toilets were pretty and pink as you can imagine!

We really enjoyed our time at Eat Genesis and if you fancy some vegan junk food we would 100% recommend you visiting!
