Honest always have a monthly special and for the month of July the special has been a Thai Fried Chicken Burger which we were lucky enough to try. If you are heading to Honest Burger before the 9th August then this has got to be your next order as it was absolutely delish!
The Thai Fried Chicken Burger is a free-range buttermilk fried chicken thigh in a honey sriracha glaze (oh my gosh this glaze is incredible) it is also served with Thai slaw, crispy shallots, American cheese, range mayo and lettuce! We cannot fault this burger one bit and we are kinda sad it is only on the menu for a couple more weeks!
It is also served with their rosemary fries as Honest have always served their burgers with chips as they want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to try them. The chips are not frozen, they are fresh and they get the potatoes from a farmer who has grown them for generations!
We also ordered a couple of sides the first side was a green salad and the second was a coleslaw, both of which were really delicious and added a bit of greenery to our meal!
To drink as it was a nice warm evening we ordered an Aperol Spritz (our faves) which was made perfectly! Rach also got a homemade lemonade and Annie a Coke Zero.
We cannot recommend the Thai Fried Chicken Burger at Honest Burger enough, it was incredible! So if you are passing by an Honest Burger between now and the 9th August pop in and give it a try!
