We LOVE that so many places have been so creative due to lockdown and have started thinking outside the box while they cannot open for customers. If you are a burger lover then we are certain you have heard of Honest Burgers and if you haven’t where have you been?
We were so excited to try the Honest at Home kits which are from Honest Burgers and can hands down say they were amazing….. just you wait until you try the rosemary salt! You will be googling to see if you can buy it ANYWHERE!
Check their website for delivery times, but basically if you order on a Sunday it will arrive on Wednesday, if you order on Monday it will arrive on Thursday and they last 2 days in the fridge at home.
You can order 2 or 4 burgers, and also have to option to choose a gluten-free bun. They also come with all the instructions which are clear, simple and easy to follow!
Plant Base DIY Kit
The Plant Base DIY Kit comes with everything you need to make the burger apart from lettuce and tomatoes if you like adding tomatoes to your burger! The kit includes 2 plant burgers, smoked ‘gouda’ cheese, Rubies in the Rubble chipotle ‘mayo’, Honest pickled cucumber, Burger buns from our friends at The Bread Factory (or Gluten Free buns), Red onion & French’s mustard.
The burgers could not be easier to make and they literally take around 10 mins from start to finish. The plant burgers are full of flavour and make the perfect meat alternative if you are trying to cut down your meat consumption.
We cooked our own chips in the oven and sprinkled the rosemary salt over the top, which is just the most incredible thing we have ever tasted! Please Honest you need to start selling this separately!
Fondue Burger DIY Kit
This was just for February, but we are sure they will bring out other ‘specials’ each month.
We loved everything about this burger, in fact it was simply delicious. We cooked the meat to our choice, we did 2.5mins each side and it was nice and pink in the middle! The addition of the melted cheese fondue made for a super cheesy burger which is what I love! #cheeselover
To accompany the burger we made our own chips and added the rosemary salt.
