It’s the most wonderful time of the year, there is always so much going on and we flippin love it! Who wouldn’t?? The food, family fun, Christmas parties and mulled wine are just a selection of traditions we LOVE! We wouldn’t change our current Christmas traditions for the world they make our Christmas just that extra bit special we are however open to new traditions and each year we seem to pick up a few more along the way.
Leaving out food and drink for Santa – we may be 25 years old, but we will still leave Santa a mince pie and a glass of sherry or wine and a carrot for Rudolf. Its the best tradition ever and we will continue it on forever
Christmas Carol Concert – we love going to Carol Concerts and singing all those Christmas songs. Carols really get you all excited for Christmas. There are so many ones in London and one year we went to one at St Paul’s Cathedral and it was lovely.
Christmas weekend away with the girls- Its now become a tradition to go away for the weekend in the run up to Christmas. The first year we went to Bristol and had the best time exploring the markets and a crazy night out. Last year we went to Sheffield for a fab weekend which included visiting the Peak District. This year we are off to Bath and cannot wait!
Christmas presents- We always swap Christmas presents with each other as close to Christmas as possible. This year we will be swapping gifts on the 19th December and we are SO excited about it.
New year new goals- At the end of the year we always sit down with one another to discuss our goals for the following year. You can read all about how we go about setting ourselves goals over on our blog post.
Christmas baking evenings- We love to bake and for all of you that have been reading our blogs or following our Instagram for a while will know we used to always have Friday evening baking evenings and they were THE best! Things have been really hectic recently we haven’t been able to do one in a while so this year we made sure we didn’t cancel our annual Christmas baking day! This year we made gingerbread men yummy!
Chloe’s Christmas party- for the past couple of years one of our closest friends has thrown a cheese and wine party in her flat. You can only imagine the amount of wine and cheese we consumed in that evening!
What are you’re traditions? We would love to know.
