I have never heard of Flight Club but when I mentioned I was going here to other people everyone seemed to know what I was talking about and all said it was really good.
Flight Club is a bar in Shoreditch and is renowned for having a number of dart boards to play darts whilst drinking.
It was a friends birthday and she had hired out an area for 2 hours which included playing darts, unlimited pizza and unlimited prosecco.
We arrived and it was a bit like going bowling you enter your name on a computer, and also take a (ugly!) picture of yourself. The computer then generates rounds and who is going to play. There are a number of different rounds and games to play varying from straight forward darts, playing in pairs or having to hit a specific target for more points.
Whilst you are playing the hostesses walk around with wooden boards of pizza that you can help yourself too. As I have a weird diet myself and a couple of others opted for gluten free pizzas so they brought us 2 pizzas of our choice to share, which were delicious!
There were also buckets filled with bottles of prosecco and jugs of orange juice too for those who wanted to make mimosas.
We all were having fun playing darts and after one hour the games ended and we were told to move to another table by the bar. Apparently in the small print when booking you only have the darts for an hour but the food and drink for 2 hours. We thought this was very cheeky, so we complained and in the end were given 3 more bottles of prosecco.
Despite this we all took advantage of the free drinks and we even ordered 2 more gluten free pizzas!!
For a celebration this is such a great idea and something different to do, and we would highly recommend it. The place is very good and there are lots of booths to be hired out, and the pizza is delicious!!
