Give the gift of a mask this Christmas

We never ever invisioned writing a blog post about our favourite masks to buy, let alone be thinking of buying friends or family members a mask for Christmas! However, 2020 has been a weird one and we are here now and obviously wanting the coolest but comfiest masks.

We also think you can never have too many masks, we leave them in our car, in pockets of coats, in our bags, hanging by the front door, hanging by the back door and anywhere else we can store just so we don’t get halfway to the shops and realise we have forgotten our mask!!!

Here is a collection of masks we love and maybe inspire you to buy for someone, they also make the perfect stocking filler!

Arma, London

These masks are so simple but very comfy and stylish. The peak on the masks means you can easily breath and also comes with a built in air filter and replaceable filters too. For every mask purchased Arma will donate a mask to frontline key workers in the UK – what a lovely idea.

Arma London is a british lifestyle brand providing their customers with a collection of premium personal safety conscious products. All products are designed in the U.K. and produced using sustainable sources materials.

We both opted for the ‘Natura Hemp Face Cover’ in Emerald Green and Gun metal Grey! They also come in Powder pink (which is super cute) and charcoal black costing £14 but at the moment you can get them for £9.99!

Mel Lamacraft

We have followed Mel on Instagram for a while now, you could say we have become Instagram buddies! Mel kindly gifted us a mask each and we love them.

Mel makes all the masks herself and has some gorgeous patterns to choose from. She has even got Christmas masks and WE ARE OBSESSED!! The masks range from £5-£6.50, considering they are handmade this is such a reasonable price, plus its more important than ever to support small businesses.

AirPop

AirPop masks are certified as one of the most effective face coverings for reducing the spread of covid-19! They have been through rigorous quality testing which included assessing breath ability, particle filter action and quality of fitting.

They do cost a bit more than your average mask but if they are going to keep us safe and healthy and help reduce the spread then we don’t mind spending a bit more! They are £29.99 for a pack of 4!

Oh can wash the masks, there is guidance on how to wash them on the website! You can use these masks for up to 40 hours before disposing of them.

5 Emperors

5 Emperors are a streetwear brand and they like to focus on high-quality clothing products at affordable prices. They have recently starting selling face masks and we were thrilled when they arrived as we loved the patterns when we saw them online.

We were sent a cute yellow striped mask (Annie favourite as that is her fav colour), a pink and white and also a black mask! We immediately noticed that you can adjust the size of the strap which is always ideal, especially if you have small ears!!

These masks fit really nicely, we haven’t stopped wearing them since we got them!

Emma Warren

We loveeeee everything Emma Warren makes so of course we were going to order one of her masks when she started embroidering them! They come in a super soft fabric and we love all the designs!

There are so many other incredible independent businesses that are selling masks as well! Head on over to Etsy and you will be inundated with options! We are hoping we get a couple of masks in our stocking this Christmas 🎄
