Yoga & Brunch: the perfect Saturday morning

I am not going to lie, I do not love yoga, well I thought I didn’t. …This all changed at the weekend when I attended such a great yoga session followed by a delicious brunch.

It was a weird turn of events because that week I had actually Googled yoga classes near me to attend, I had had a really stressful week moving house and suddenly craved a yoga class (is that weird to crave a yoga session?!). Then got invited to the yoga&brunch at District Coffee in Embassy Gardens.

District is an Aussie cafe run by the lovely Chelsea, there is one in Nine Elms and one in Parsons Green. The Nine Elms branch has recently opened and is in a fab location for the Battersea Power Station redevelopment (my new favourite part of London!)

Anyway we started the morning with a delicious coffee of our choice, I went for an oat milk cappuccino and then we had such a fab 1 hour yoga session in a nearby studio. The class was amazing and our teacher Jordan made the class exciting, varied and also suitable for all levels. Thanks Jordan for making me love yoga again!

After, it was back to District for the most amazing brunch spread, smoothies, kombucha, granola, croissants, corn fritters, waffles and of course more coffee! There was so much to choose from and it was all so delicious. My favourite was the buckwheat waffles, topped with coconut yoghurt and berry coulis. 100% will be returning to eat these again because I am even dreaming of them now whilst I write this!!

Make sure you follow them on Instagram and key your eyes out for when they do another yoga&brunch Saturday morning.
