We have wanted to visit Duck and Waffle for a while but around Christmas time it was almost impossible to get a reservation at the original one in the Heron Tower, however Duck and Waffle have opened another one on Haymarket And its called Duck and Waffle Local. Okay there may not be those amazing views but we were able to enjoy the delicious food and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

As we were in Duck and WAFFLE we decided to share some WAFFLES. The famous Duck and Waffle dish seemed a little over priced to us and looked a bit small so we decided not to go for that but instead went for Vanilla Fudge Brownie, and The Full Elvis.

As Rach doesn’t like nuts we had the peanut brittle and peanut butter on the side so that Annie could still enjoy her favourite thing ever, peanut butter! Both waffles were super super sweet but equally very delicious and we were glad we shared them as it meant we didn’t have an overload of the same dish.

In our honest opinion Duck and Waffle Local was a little cramped and the seating was very close together, this would not be the place for a romantic date – but it was fine for us!

We would recommend visiting Duck and Waffle Local if you fancy trying out the famous food, however we most probably would not return here and would rather visit the one in the Heron Tower to enjoy the breathtaking views of London.
