The Hottest Holiday Destinations: Europe’s Favourite Locations!

Are you looking for inspiration for your next holiday? If so, we may have some ideas for you! It’s never been easier to spread your wings and fly away (as long as you have some dolla), but saying that there are so many affordable flights now days that is has opened us up a host of new destinations. Although Spain continues to be the destination of choice for most people, other locations are catching up.

Spain is the most popular holiday destination for European tourists, but there are signs that other countries are becoming increasingly appealing. Maybe it’s media attention or the availability of cheaper flights but other locations are appearing on the map. Croatia, for example, has become a leading tourist destination in recent years- a county that is definitely on our bucket list.

We recently visited La Palma, it wasn’t very touristy at all but it was so cheap and such an incredible Island. It was a four hour flight from London and before you know it you are in this beautiful little haven.

Budapest is another country that is ridiculously cheap when you are there! Budapest is the perfect mix of city break and relaxation. Rach loved it when she visited and cannot wait to go back with Annie.

We visited Ibiza a couple of years ago and it barely cost us any money which we were really surprised about. Quite a lot of people are put off of the idea of visiting Ibiza due to its party reputation, but we have to say it was truly stunning and didn’t even visit the party town.

Bulgaria is another country that we would love to visit! Any tips on where to go in Bulgaria would be fabulous! We have heard the skiing there is pretty incredible in the winter months as well!

If you’re looking for a holiday destination, and you fancy a change of scenery, why not consider visiting somewhere you’ve never been before? There is nothing quite like the thrill of exploring new places and discovering different cultures.

Budapest Brunchin’

Brunch seems to be taking over the world and any new place you visit is likely to serve brunch and Budapest was no exception.

If you are visiting Budapest then you will sure be able to get your brunch fix, but where to go is the question as there are so many to choose from!

London coffee society
Okay you are in Budapest, but this place is London themed. Don’t let this put you off because this place is pretty cool. Located on a quiet street its not necessarily somewhere you would just stumble upon or end up. Even from the outside this place looks pretty cool, there are 3 tables outside which only seat 2 people per table. The inside is very quirky with a London theme, there is even a platform and 3/4 upstairs, along with a very grand clock. The menu is awesome and pretty healthy. All the dishes have a unique twist to them. The beetroot, avocados and salmon on toast is covered in pomegranate and is different but delicious. You can also choose from a variety of toast dishes but also smoothie//yogurt bowls. There are lots of different coffees too, including iced coffee. There is also a selection of healthy sweet treats including avocado chocolate brownies, which are yummy!! You can also orders pastries or sandwiches.

Stika
This cafe is in a popular area of Pest and close to lots of things. You can sit inside or outside and the menu is large and caters for all. The breakfast/brunch menu is very egg cantered and there are different varieties of eggs to choose from. This place was set up by 2 brothers and they will always be wearing bow ties! Definitely give this a visit when in Budapest, although the pictures are enough to tempt you!

A la Maison Grande
This place has such cool feel to it. It feels part French but also very typically English too. The menu is large and there is so much to choose. From egg dishes, French toast, waffles and pancakes. This place is popular so if you want to eat outside then we advise you to book in advance, as the terrace out the front is very small.
The place is also very busy so the staff are very rushed and not as attentive as they could be, and it takes a while to be served or to get the bill etc so bear this in mind!

Emile
This amazing place is such a hidden gem. Located on the Buda side you would NEVER visit if you didn’t know it was there. We had to take a taxi there because it’s at least an hour walk from pest! This place is located i the most random place ever, it is very very posh and kinda feels like you are in Beverly Hills 90201!!! The courtyard is stunning and has lots of tables with u breakfast, but they also comfy little pods to sit in too. The breakfast menu is small and the portion sizes are also small. However the setting makes up for it! The food however did taste amazing, just could’ve eaten the meal 3 times over!! You can have eggs on waffles or waffles and fruit. However the iced coffee was the best sampled in Budapest. It was incredible, plus there was cream on top!!

Szimply
Really really wish we visited here because their Instagram is SO dreamy. We were recommended this place too, however its super healthy and different and we didn’t think the boys we were with would appreciate it. However, after speaking to many people this is the best brunch in Budapest, so guess you will have to try for us and let us know what its like!
