In life, it’s easy to limit yourself. We often tell ourselves that we are not good enough, or that we shouldn’t try, or that we haven’t got the skills to move towards a certain life goal. Of course this might sometimes be the case but often it may also be because you (we know we sometimes are) too happy in your comfort zone
Anxiety, thank you for also making us feel nervous and not good enough! Although lately this hasn’t been the case so much!
Stepping outside your comfort zone can also be fun and the rewards can be great! There are so many ways that you can do this:
Challenging yourself
Challenging yourself is built up of several steps first, you feel somewhat nervous. Then, you learn more. You then realise exactly what is needed from you. We have challenged ourself in so many ways this year Rach has run several half marathons and Annie completed a 54 mile run! It was important that we equipped ourself correctly which you can do through using custom designed sport & leisurewear! It’s always great having top with your name on it so people can cheer you on!
The process of completing these two things took time and a lot of dedication but of course the end results were totally worth it!
Seeing your ability
We definitely surprised ourselves with our ability to complete the challenges we set ourselves! It did take a lot of effort though and we did surprise ourselves with how well we did!
Meeting new people
Rach has recently moved to a new area and she decided to sign up to a running club which at first was scary and daunting but she has managed to meet lots of new people who also share a common interest! If you are thinking about starting a new sport or joining a running club for example you totally should as you will most likely meet people just like you
The new year is fast approaching and we will be entering a new decade (oh em gee) so why not challenge yourself and do something that is totally outside of your comfort zone!
