Giggling Squid Review

Giggling Squid all started back in 2002 in the basement of a tiny fisherman’s cottage which is now their Brighton restaurant. It all started with a Thai Tapas Menu which is still available on their lunch time menu.

We have heard so many great things about the Giggling Squid we knew we had to try it. We are really loving our Thai food at the moment and it’s great to try lots of new dishes.

We visited the Bath branch of the Giggling Squid and had the most incredible evening. The restaurant was an instagram dream and had such a lovely ambiance. We arrived just after 7 and were shown to our table.

The restaurant is full of flower wallls and they also have ginormous bird cages that you can book (they do try and keep this for customers celebrating special occasions).

Carys was our waitress for the evening and oh my goodness she was just so lovely and super helpful! You can tell she really enjoy her job, which just made the entire evening even more enjoyable.

We were offered a bottle of white or red wine, we went for the red wine and we are glad we did because it was delicious. We were also served a ginormous bowl of prawn crackers (Rachel’s favourite) with sweet chilli sauce, they didn’t last long as you can imagine!

To start we went for the sharing platter which is new on the menu and costs £16.75. We have been ordering the sharing platter a lot recently as it means we get to try a little bit of everything. The sharing platter at Giggling Squid included; Strips of hand-cut pork grilled on skewers, salt and pepper squid, Thai chicken wings, vegetable spring rolls. It was also served with three sauces are favourite being the tamarind, how have we never tried this before!

For mains we decided to mix it up a little bit as we always go for the same thing which is usually two curries, so this time we ordered a Salmon Paneang. The salmon Paneang was a Salmon fillet in a creamy, red curry sauce with stir fried Tenderstem broccoli and pak choi. Even though salmon isn’t typically Thai, the flavours were absolutely incredible. Giggling squid describe the Salmon Paneang as ‘A friendly, comforting dish using super popular ingredients’ and we couldn’t agree with them more.

We also ordered the Prawn Massaman curry. This type of curry is a Muslim style curry from Southern Thailand, it’s made with coconut milk and dry spices such as cumin, cinnamon and star anise. We really enjoyed this curry but we will say if you aren’t a massive fan or star anise then you may not like this dish as the flavour is quite powerful (especially if you eat it like I did LOL).

We also shared a side of brown rice which we are really enjoying at the moment. For a while we always got sticky rice which don’t get us wrong we also love, but there is just something about brown rice that makes it our fave.

For dessert we ordered the Lychee yoghurt ice cream which was full of so much flavour, it was very light and refreshing and made for the perfect dessert. We also loved the fact there were pieces of lychee in it.

We also ordered the black sesame ice cream as it really intrigued us, this is a unique flavour to Giggling Squid as well so we couldn’t not order it. We were not too sure about the flavour at first but actually it really grew on us and we finished the entire bowl, it did have quite a nutty flavour which we really enjoyed.

We also enjoyed a fresh mint tea which was the perfect end to a great evening. The teeny tiny tea pots and cups are so cute and the waitress said she could top them up if we wanted.

If you are looking for a great Thai to visit then it just has to be the Giggling Squid, we honestly cannot recommend the food enough!

Flipside Restaurant Review

Flipside is a 100% plant based restaurant that offers a wide selection of food from healthy salads to meat like burgers. Flipside freshly prepares the sandwiches and salad bowls every morning meaning customers can just grab & go.

Flipside is located just a 5-10 minute walk from Farringdon station, so it’s really convenient if you live or work in the city. They are also a cashless restaurant making them super speedy, you can use the self service iPads or you can go to the counter to place your order.

We arrived at Flipside at around 6pm on a Friday evening. We always try and arrive quite early in the hope that the restaurant will be empty. We were in luck which meant we could take our photos without anyone else in the background. We are glad we did arrive early because by the time we were finished Flipside was starting to fill up.

There is a lot to choose from on the menu we were so stuck on what to order. We have never tried meat like burgers before so we knew straight away that we had to order a couple of those! We went for the Flipside Quarter Pounder and Beyond Burger, the burgers were served with chips which were cooked to perfection, we loved them!

We absolutely loved the burgers they were so delicious and if we didn’t know they were plant based we probably wouldn’t have been able to guess.

We also ordered a couple of the Super Bowls to try, we ordered the Naked Cali which consisted of lots of rice, beans, salsa and tortilla chips it was really delicious and definitely one of their healthier options. We also ordered the Red & Greens which was so delicious we especially liked the chargrilled broccoli and skillet Brussels they were so tasty.

We definitely had a feast this evening, everything looked so good we couldn’t not try. We also ordered the nachos which were amazing and so tasty. The vegan cheese on top was really tasty and again we wouldn’t have known these were plant based, they were also very generous with the portion size. We would 100% recommend ordering the nachos when you visit as you won’t be disappointed.

For sides we were really intrigued by the sticky & crisply rashers so we knew we had to order those. I absolutely loved them, they didn’t taste like bacon at all like we thought maybe they would but they were really delicious! They had a different texture to bacon as well as they were quite chewy- definitely worth a try though.

We really loved that all of the drinks in the fridge were totally plastic free and 100% plant based. We both opted for a small bottle of Prosecco each (it was Friday after all).

We really enjoyed how convenient Flipside is, if you want a glass of water you can just help yourself, which is great if like us you drink a lot of water at dinner.

There was a small selection of cakes and cookies at the till points. We had our eye on the sticky toffee pudding that we had spotted on the menu but sadly that didn’t have any, not that we needed anymore to eat anyway!

The staff were so friendly at Flipside and welcomed us with open arms. If you are looking to enjoy a plant based feast then Flipside is the restaurant for you, we will definitely be returning soon.

Coco di Mama – a delicious Italian lunch

There are so many places out there to enjoy on your lunch break, but mostly all do the same food/cuisine, so we were delighted when we discovered Coco di Mama on the Nutrifix app. They serve healthy and hearty fresh Italian food. There are 21 branches around London, and we are sure you will find one near to where you work or want to visit.

We visited separately and went to 2 different branches. If you work in the Victoria area then Coco di Mama is situated on Victoria Street and is certainly very popular here, there was a constant queue and stream of people on the Tuesday lunchtime that I visited.

If you work in the city, then make sure you head to the king William street branch. The staff here despite being rushed off their feet are super helpful and look so happy, which is a delight to see.

You can pick up a cold option from the fridge which include salads, sandwiches and hummus pots. Annie actually opted for the Jackfruit Salad it was actually incredible especially the pink hummus, I (Annie) also added some balsamic vinegar but it would be perfect just the way it comes.

Or you can get hot fresh pasta from the counter. There is a choice of sizes, the large is pretty big they are very generous. There are plenty of sauces to choose from including, carbonara, pesto & meatballs. Coco di Mama cater for all dietary requirements and if you want you can get gluten free pasta. Coco di Mama is also very vegan friendly and Rach opted for the lentil pasta ragu, and went for gluten free pasta. The lentils were a great substitute for a meat sauce and the whole thing tasted delicious.

There are also fruit pots in the fridge which we definitely eyed up, we do love a fruit pot!

At the counter there is a wide selection of cakes and cookies to choose from. We have been loving our vegan lunches at the moment so we opted for the vegan dark chocolate banana bread and oh my gosh it was just insane! Rach has hers a little later on and heated it up, we both could have eaten it all over again.

There is also fridge full of cold beverages, we tried one of the new juices from Daily Dose which was delicious. We also tried Da-Sh water which was also really refreshing, I got the raspberry flavour.

Coco di Mama also serves yummy coffee, and we particulalry love the cup you get given it’s a coral colour and Coco di Mama on it. Annie had a mocha, to enjoy with her banana bread and it really did hit the spot.

We also noticed the pasta straws which we thought was such an amazing idea especially as they serve pasta in store as well!

We have recommended Coco Di Mama to so many people already and we have even been back ourselves!

First Table UK At The Crazy Bear

First Table is a website that offers a 50% discount off restaurant meals at specific times. All you have to do is pay a £5 booking fee (per table not person) to secure the discount at your restaurant of choice. You can receive 50% off your meal for up to 4 people!

Just go onto the website, create an account and then have a look at the restaurant choices on there. We filtered to London and had a browse but you can also filter on a particular part of London.

Underneath the restaurants are the date and times available. We found that at most restaurants the first table is usually 6pm but some are as early as 5:30pm or as late as 7pm. You can book your table up to a week in advance but you better be quick because they go very quickly!

If you are late for your table they will only wait 15 minutes for you (like most places) and then the deal is off! So make sure you are not late.

We think First Table is such a great idea especially if you have somewhere to be later on like the theatre or you are just popping out after work for a quick dinner.

Rach first heard of First Table when she was in New Zealand visiting her sister, they used the app quite frequently when they were going out for dinner.

We were thrilled when we saw that First Table had launched in the U.K. and immediately got in contact with them. We love working with brands that we already love and have used before.

Our first restaurant of choice was located in Marylebone but we later found out that they were closing so we couldn’t visit, we were so upset! Instead we booked The Crazy Bear in Fitzrovia.

Our table was booked for 7pm and we thought we would be the first ones in the restaurant, but actually there were already so many tables occupied. The restaurant itself chooses the dates and times it has availability so maybe there was a reason why The Crazy Bear chose this time.

We ordered some prawn crackers of course, which were so delicious and the sweet chilli sauce was incredible!

To start we had the sharing platter which is £12.95 per person so in total it cost £25.90. The selection was nice but we were slightly let down by the size of the platter, it was tiny and defiantly wasn’t what we expected!

Our favourite dish of the night was the tune and avocado sushi! It was so so tasty and so fresh! We wish we ordered a couple more of these to sample- so if you visit these are a must!

For main we got some sticky rice which was really sticky and so delicious we could have had another portion! To go with it we also had the lamb chop curry which was a dry curry.

For dessert we ordered the passion fruit and mango knickerbocker glory and the salted butter caramel both of which we enjoyed and gobbled up very quickly.

The staff at The Crazy Bear were incredibly helpful and very welcoming, we really enjoyed our evening.

Cafe’s To Work From In London

London is full of young professionals, including myself! So we have decided to compile a list of cafes you can work from if you are lucky enough to be able to work from home.

BLACK LAB – CLAPHAM COMMON
Black Lab is on Clapham Common Southside and is a super cute coffee shop. There is enough seating inside and outside along with an extensive menu. You can have dairy milk or almond milk and there are lots of cakes and treats to enjoy too. In the sunshine its nice to sit outside, however it can be very noisy as you are right on the road.

OZONE COFFEE ROASTERS – OLD STREET
Located near to Old Street station this place serves a delicious coffee! It is also very spacious (although doesn’t look like it on the outside). There are long benches upstairs which has plug sockets and then lots more tables downstairs. This is a popular place for people to work from and I even spied someone holding interviews here. The wifi is great too!

FARM GIRL – CARNABY STREET
Farm Girl in Notting Hill is often very very busy and its hard to get a seat, same with the one in Chelsea. However Farm Girl at 1 Carnaby Street is a lot quieter. Located above Sweaty Betty this is a great place to work from. The wifi is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed. There is also lovely outside seating for the summer. You can treat yourself to a matcha latte and be super millennial!

WHOLE FOODS – PICCADILLY CIRCUS
This Whole Foods is so big and there is so much choice! There is a huge section for takeaway food/lunch options, but you could also do your weekly shop here if you are rich enough! Anyway, upstairs is a spacious seating area which is lovely to work from. The wifi is strong and there are plenty of plug sockets. Make sure you get there early to get a seat before the lunchtime rush!

WHOLE FOODS – FULHAM BROADWAY
This Whole Foods has a large seating area upstairs with plenty of places to sit at. You can sit at the window and watch the world go by down below or can sit on one if the main tables. Again, pretty decent wifi and plenty of plug sockets.

601 QUEENS ROAD – WIMBLEDON
This cafe is an Instagram dream, the stairs are marble, the tables are marble, the lighting is bright and there are cactus’ everywhere! What’s even better the wifi is fab. They serve breakfast until 11.30am and there is lots to choose from. The lunchtime menu is also fab, check out the burger! The only problem here is that there are not enough plug sockets so make sure you arrive with a fully charged laptop!

GAILS BAKERY – VARIOUS LOCATIONS
Okay we aren’t exaggerating when we say Gails bakery serves the best hot chocolate we have tasted! There are also so many delicious bakery delights to choose from. There are plenty of tables in all the Gail’s we have visited (and we have been to a fair few!), there are also so many plug sockets which makes spending all day here ideal. The wifi is fab as well and there is also a jug of water to help yourself when you get thirsty.

THE CORAL ROOM- TOTTENHAM COURT ROAD
The Coral Room is located in the Bloomsbury Hotel (also home of Dalloway Terrace). It is the perfect spot to work from and has great WiFi! It is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street and it is hidden so not everyone knows it exists! They have a great brunch menu and the coffee is fab if you are also looking for a bite to eat. The staff treat you amazingly and do not rush you out of your seat- will definitely be returning!

Panzerotto Blues Tooting Market

Want to sample the only panzerotto in London….. well you might not even know what it is, so let us tell you first and then we are sure you will want to try it too!

Panzerotto is similar to a calzone that is probably the best way to describe what it looks like but let us tell you it is NOT a calzone and Panzerotte Blues make sure you know this too….. look at these signs and you will agree!

It is basically a sourdough pizza base with a filling of your choice that is folded over then deep fried. Now you may think oh wow its fried, its going to be really greasy, well you are wrong, it isn’t greasy at all, in fact its super crispy and light and we are converted!

We were lucky enough to meet the owner and founder who chatted to us and told us the process of it and also told us little stories about the Panzerotto!

Now, we have told you a little about the panzerotto you now want to know where it is! Head to Tooting Market in, you guessed it Tooting and you will find Panzerotto Blues, you order from thier little kiosk and can either sit at the seats they have along the wall or on the main communcal seats in the middle of the market. They also sell them at Greenwich market, so make sure you head down there as well (Monday – Friday only!)

Rachel went for the Margherita panzerotto which was absolutely delicious! The panzerotto was both filling and light! We didn’t feel overly full but we were also 100% satisfied! Annie ordered their best selling panzerotto which was the Panz Jungle- mushrooms, spinach, goats cheese and a sprinkle of chilli flakes giving it that extra kick!

The Margherita was £5.50 and the Panz Jungle was £6.35 which we think is very decent for a market stall lunch, especially when it’s so fresh and cooked in front of you!

Plate Restaurant Review

Plate restaurant is located in the M by Montcalm hotel which is located just a 5 minute walk from Old Street in London. The hotel opened in 2015 and the restaurant opened last May and is absolutely gorgeous.


Plate is located on 2 floors, the ground floor is a bakery during the day and cocktail bar at night. It has comfy seats located by the windows, perfect for watching the world go by. The smell of coffee and fresh pastries hits you as you walk into the restaurant which is divine. The bakery also supplies Black Coffee (a well known coffee chain in London) with their pastries!


The main restaurant is on the mezzanine above the bakery/bar. The restaurant is spacious with floor to ceiling windows and amazing plants making it an Instagram dream. There are also lots of plants which add to the green house botanical vibe! Look at us cuties posing in front of this cute blossom tree!


The staff here are so lovely and we had the nicest waitress who was very attentive and proud to work at Plate. She always made sure we were happy with the food we had ordered which was really nice of her.

The food and beverage manager Frederick also come over to introduce himself. He gave us a bit of background on the company and their vision for the future. He also told us about their ribs night… more on that later!

The brunch menu is large and there is so much choice. In order to have bottomless prosecco for £15 you have to order 2 courses off the brunch menu, no trouble for us!!!

We decided to start with something sweet and a little lighter, these dishes were much more breakfast like. Rachel went for the ‘Pears & Cream’ which was Grilled poached pear, ricotta cheese, granola, grapes and honey this was absolutely delicious! There were so many delicious flavours we would definitely recommend!

Annie went for the berries and yoghurt which was a mixed berry compote, Greek yogurt, granola and honey! This was so delicious and the berry compote was the perfect blend of sweet and sour! We have to mention the bowls they used as well as we absolutely loved them, they reminded us of shells!

For the next course annie opted for the sourdough with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Quite often when we go for brunch they are not very generous with the salmon but here at Plate they are very generous which is fab! The plate was piled high with both scrambled egg and amazing quality smoked salmon, can I eat it all over again please!?

Rach went for the macaroni cheese which was simple but incredibly tasty and very filling! I loved the basil they had added to the mix it added tons of flavour! Would definitely recommend this dish and the portion size was huge, so big in fact it almost defeated me!

For dessert we decided to share the French toast (we were already SO FULL). This was amazing it was light fluffy and tasted kind of like brioche with a croissant texture it was the perfect way to end a delicious meal! It was served with Banana caramel, maple creme Fraiche and candied pecans.

Unlike most bottomless brunches the waitress left the bottle of prosecco by our side in an ice bucket. We loved this as it meant we could top our glasses up when we wanted to, although she was so attentive we often didn’t need to. We were offered another bottle as well which was nice but we literally couldn’t fit anything else in, we were stuffed!

No issues on the toilet front they were clean tidy! They also had elemis hand wash and hand cream which we love the smell of!

As we mentioned before Plate also offer a bottomless steak and chips on a Friday from 6-7pm for £15 and a bottomless ribs and wings on a Thursday for just £10 which runs from 6-7:30pm so you have an hour and a half to eat as much as you want.

It would be a great place to work from, which Rach took note of as she works from home! The WIFI was good as well which is a bonus and means you wouldn’t have to hotspot!

The hotel looked so beautiful we would love to stay here, maybe one day hey?

The W.B Yeats Collaborates with M.I.A

M.I.A and The W.B Yeats collaborated to celebrate chocolate week and rumour has it they will be collaborating for the rest of the year! What a fabulous idea we hear you think and you wouldn’t be wrong. Any excuse to eat chocolate and we are there, so even better when there is an entire week dedicated to chocolate.

Chocolate week was from the 13th- 21st October 2018 so if you missed it this year and you are a chocolate lover make sure you look out for it next year as so many brands get involved with it.

The W.B Yeats is a pub located just a short walk from Finsbury Park Station. They serve freshly prepared food that is of an amazing quality and everything on the menu sounded delicious. We arrived at The W.B Yeats pub at 7:30PM on Friday 19th October ready to try the menu and most importantly the M.I.A Chocolate desserts that are currently on the menu and will be until the end of the year.

We have tried M.I.A chocolate previously and absolutely loved it! You can read our blog post here all about the chocolate.

We ordered both desserts and shared of course…when do we not!

The Warm Chocolate & Caramel Tart with Coconut Cream was one of the desserts and we absolutely loved it, this dessert was Rachels favourite out of the two and she could have eaten it all over again it was so delicious. We loved the rich chocolatey taste, the warm caramel sauce and the perfectly cooked buttery pastry. The coconut cream was served on the top and it was the perfect addition!

The second dessert on the menu was a Cold Chocolate fondant with Candid Hazelnut which was also incredible, we particularly liked the crispy base (we have always loved anything with a crunchy base). The mousse was perfectly set, and we loved the taste of the chocolate powering through with every bite.

We couldn’t just visit The W.B Yeats for the desserts though, of course we went enjoyed a three course meal, how could we not when the menu sounded so divine.

We ordered a bottle Of Le Campuget Syrah Grenache which was a delicious blush wine, the type of wine we have been loving recently. it was fresh, crisp and easy to drink. Le Campuget Syrah Grenache is such a summer wine and reminds us of those light evenings sipping it in the sunshine if you cannot tell already e are trying to hold onto summer for as long as possible.

We also shared some Salamanca olives and nuts which were perfect to snack whilst we had a catch up and chose what we wanted to order.

To start we shared the Isle of Wight tomatoes & parmesan on toast which was divine and so flavoursome. We would 100% recommend this starter to anyone to visits. They were incredibly generous on the portion sizes there were so many tomatoes. We love parmesan it’s one of our favourite cheeses so of course we loved that part of the dish as well.

For mains we both went for the steak, with green sauce and onions. It was unbelievable, we wanted to eat it all over again! It was served with a side of chips and of course gravy that was poured over the top of the steak. The greens sauce had parsley in it which we absolutely loved!

Angus the manager of the pub was incredible, he looked after us all evening, you can really tell he loves his job. He explained each dish to us in detail before we tucked in which we really appreciated as its nice to know a bit of background on the dish.

It was a busy Friday evening in the pub and the atmosphere was alive, we loved the vibe. We got the feeling that most people were locals enjoying a Friday night drink and a bite to eat.

We have heard that W.B Yeats serve an incredible roast on a Sunday, its huge so make sure if you visit you are hungry! We are going to have to make a return visit to try it!

Emilia’s Crafted Pasta

**Warning, this post will leave you hungry and craving Italian food!!!*

At this early dinner or late lunch (we ate at 3.30pm so you decide….!!), we both agreed that Italian food is our favourite cuisine to have at a restaurant which was excellent as we were both about to tuck in to the most incredible Italian meal.

Located in St Katerine Dock overlooking the Marina is this small Italian restaurant, we were fortunate enough to visit on the most gorgeous Autumn Day and it was warm enough to sit outside and enjoy the amazing view whilst also people watching.

Emilia’s seats roughly 35 people, they specialise in making handmade pasta that is made fresh each morning, the recipes are created and cooked right in front of you, which we absolutely loved.

We asked if it would be possible to sit outside seeing as it was such a beautiful day. We had a small wait for a table which was fine as we sat on the bar stalls and watched the chefs hard at work.

Shortly after we were shown to our table which overlooked the docks, it was stunning. We both ordered a drink Rach went for a glass of prosecco and Annie had an Aperol Spritz, which we enjoyed in the sunshine whilst admiring the view.

Now lets cut to the food which is what you all came here for. The menu is simple which is what we like because it makes choosing not as difficult, we always think that is a sign of a good restaurant. The menus were printed on brown paper and doubled up as place mats which is a great idea. Everything on the menu had our mouths watering and we really were spoilt for choice.

Burrata is Rach’s all time favourite thing so of course she opted for the Burrata for starter, which was served with toasted ciabatta and was INCREDIBLE. It was creamy and delicious and had such a great flavour, it was utterly delicious.

Annie ordered finely sliced bresaola (cured beef) with rocket and parmesan salad there was also the option to have it with   toasted ciabatta instead of the salad. Bresaola for anyone that doesn’t know is air-dried, salted beef that is usually aged for two or three months until it becomes hard and turns dark red in colour. Parmesan is my favourite cheese so I had to order the salad of course and I was delighted when it was served with a very generous portion.

There are six different types of pasta on the menu; Potato Gnocchi (occasionally available), Bucatini, Ravioli, Rigatoni, Pappardelle and Casarecce. There are seven pasta dishes to choose from each of which is created using of the pasta options above.

We both ordered 4 hour slow cooked béchamel bolognese with grated parmesan which was a Pappardelle dish. pappadelle pasta is a thick pasta and the flavours of it were incredible. The portion size was huge and pasta is so filling! Thankfully they have doggy bags so you can take what you cannot manage home with you.

Toilets are located outside of the restaurant, they are public toilets that most the little restaurants shared. They are clean and we had no issue with this at all- means there is more space to seat guests!

The staff at Emilia’s were really attentive and so friendly! We couldn’t have asked for a better waiter/waitress they were both so happy and polite.

We had the most incredible time and we will definitely be returning again! It was just the most perfect afternoon and we couldn’t have asked for better food!

Tibits Restaurant Review

Tibits is a vegetarian and Vegan restaurant chain located in Switzerland and London, they have a total of eight stores (two of which are in London). Three brothers from Switzerland wanted to create a ‘delicious and fresh vegetarian buffet, as speedy as a fast food joint and as cosy as a corner café’ they worked with two of the oldest vegetarian restaurant owners in Zurich and together created Tibits.

Tibits in London can be found just off of Regents street in Heddon Street and also in Southwark (known as the Bankside branch) located just behind the Tate Modern. We visited the Bankside branch on a rainy Sunday morning and as soon as we entered the restaurant our mood was immediately lifted.

Tibits was fairly quiet as the restaurant only opens at 11:30am on a Sunday and our reservation was at 12:00PM, we certainly were not complaining though as it was the perfect opportunity to take some photographs of the restaurant. We are glad we did as well because by the time we left the restaurant was full and the atmosphere was buzzing.

On arrival we were welcomed straight away by a lovely hostess who explained to us how it all worked! You pay by weight, so you can take as much or as little as you want. Once you have filled your plate you can take it over to the till and have your plate weighed. Breakfast is £1.90 per 100g, lunch is £2.30 per 100g and dinner is £2.60 per 100g.

We opted to sit inside as it raining outside but if it had been a lovely sunny morning we definitely would have sat outside watching the world go by.

Tibits has over 40 homemade vegetarian and vegan salads, hot dishes, soups and breakfast dishes. As we visited Tibits at 12:00PM and as it was the weekend there was a selection of breakfast dishes and lunch dishes available.

We were really impressed with the number of dishes on offer and we were completely spoilt for choice. We of course piled our plates up, so we could try a little bit of everything (it has just got to be done). We enjoyed every single option on our plate it was just heaven! We especially loved the lasagna it was sooo delicious.

The bread is complimentary so don’t put that on your plate when you go to get it weighed!

The food is in the middle of the restaurant served on an island that you can walk around and choose what dishes you want to have. We walked around that island several times making sure we didn’t miss anything!

Rach also ordered a large Fitness Green Juice which was really tasty (although we did wonder how small a small would be as the large wasn’t that big). Annie went for a Ginger Kombacher as she had never tried one before and was curious to see what all the fuss was about. The Kombacher was really refreshing and the ginger flavour was divine.

Tibits were hosting a live music bottomless brunch, it was the last one of the summer and included unlimited gin and tonics (sounds right up our street). Guests started to arrive just after we had finished our meal and were sat outside in the conservatory area which was really beautiful and had a lovely atmosphere.

The main restaurant had mainly high chairs and also window benches for a spot of people watching! There is also a small amount of seating downstairs which was really cute and cosy and would be perfect for a bigger party.

The toilets are downstairs and just as a warning are communal boys and girls so don’t be alarmed when washing your hands (like we were)!

Overall we had such a nice experience visiting Tibits and have never really dined in this way before but loved it! We often like to try many dishes (when eating out together we usually share our food half and half!) but this style of dining meant we had a lot of variety and didn’t get food envy if one another!

We would definitely return here and would recommend to everyone whether they are veggie/vegan or not!
