Natural Wonders Bucket List

We have put together a natural wonders bucket list that will give you all those wanderlust feels. There are so many beautiful places to choose from and we hope we get the chance to visit each and every one of them. There are so many wonderful sights from crystal caves to magnificent waterfalls, lakes and mud volcanoes that have made rock formations that look like a work of art.

Mud Volcanoes, Gobustan, Azerbaijan
The mud volcanoes are Just 65 kilometres south of Azerbaijan’s capital Baku, we have heard the mud volcanoes of Gobustan have a strangely Martian landscape appearance. Small volcanoes that still throw out some mud, which is thought to have medicinal qualities apparently you will see people stripping down and smothering themselves with it.

Pembrokeshire Coastal Path National Trail, Wales, UK
Situated in southwest Wales, this path twists for 300 kilometres from St. Dogmaels to Amroth. The weather is not always good (as expected), but rumour has it on a sunny day, it is one of the most beautiful places you will find on your travels. You can join the trail in different locations, and if you are lucky you might even see seals in the waters below. There are also guided walks if you prefer to be with someone who knows the trail well.

Great Barrier Reef, Australia
The Great Barrier Reef in Australia has some of the most stunning views trust us! The sea life and coral is just stunning and something everyone has to see once in their life. Some of the Great Barrier Reef tours from Cairns offer glass-bottomed boats, which will let you see even more. They also give you the chance for snorkelling and diving as part of your trip which I (Rach) did when I travelled Australia and it was INCREDIBLE!

Verdon Gorge, Provence, France
Verdon Gorge is known for being one of Europe’s most beautiful gorges. We really want to swim in the clear blue waters of the Verdon River that flows through for 25 kilometres. It is also meant to be a popular destination for rock climbers if that takes your fancy.

Ayers Rock, Australia

This is probably ones of Australia best-known landmarks.  To the aboriginal Anangu custodians, it is a sacred place and climbing it is considered to be disrespectful to them. It is also dangerous but viewed from as close as you are safe to go, it is a truly amazing sight.

Angel Falls, Venezuela
This waterfall cascades from the largest tabletop mountain in Venezuela and is the highest waterfall in the world. It is located in a remote jungle, which you can only reach by plane. The local people work as guides so that you can see how most of the water evaporates on its way down and never reaches the bottom.

Cascate del Mulino, Saturnia, Tuscany, Italy
The waters that come from the natural springs have a temperature of about 37.5 C, and they run down as a series of small waterfalls to different levels. It is said that a 10 minutes soak in these mineral waters will help to relieve the discomfort of many ailments, including muscle and joint aches and pains!

Iguazu falls, Argentina
Located in Argentina, these falls are simply stunning that they have to be on our bucket list. Just look up images and you’ll want to head there tomorrow. These are the largest waterfalls in the world so are pretty impressive.

Moraine Lake, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada
With the bluest waters ever seen you must add Moraine Lake to your bucket list. Trust us you will want to sit and stare at this lake for hours. You can also hire a canoe and really impress your friends with incredible pictures. Whilst you’re here find some time to visit Lake Louise and walk to Big Beehive for incredible views. There is so much to see in Banff National Park, just keep a look out for bears!

These are just a few of the places that you should consider including on your natural wonders bucket list. Every country in the world has amazing sights somewhere in them; it is just a case of finding the ones you want to see!

Dreaming About Our African Adventure

We have wanted to visit Africa for such a long time! There are so many assumptions about Africa and what it is like and we just want to experience it for ourselves! Africa is such a large continent but we have picked out a few of the places we would LOVE to visit one day on our African Adventure!

MOREMI
Located in the Okavango Delta, Botswana, the Moremi Game Reserve is home to some of the most amazing wildlife in all of Africa. Places like Little Mombo, otherwise known as the “the place of plenty”, help to celebrate the conservation efforts of the area. The Rhino population in this area is especially amazing as well.

TABLE MOUNTAIN
We have heard that Cape Town is one of the best beach cities in the world and and thanks to the Table Mountain, it’s also one of the most photogenic as well. One of the new seven wonders of the world, Table Mountain would definitely be a must see on our trip!

VICTORIA FALLS
Victoria Falls is meant to the the most amazing spectacle in africa. Flowing from 108 meters up, the speed of Victoria Falls is almost double that of Niagara.

PYRAMIDS OF GIZA
We have heard mixed reviews about the Pyramids of Giza but either way we would LOVE to visit them- they look incredible.

THE SAHARA DUNES
There is something so wonderful about this clear and open part of the world! We have heard the stars at night as spectacular. It would be a dream to run the Marathon des Sables!

The more we research the more we realise how much there is to see and do in The continent of Africa. It would be impossible to get through it all in one trip but that’s the beauty of travel we can always return!

Travelling The World Top 5 Bucket Lists

Our travel bucket list gets longer and longer by the day, we dream about visiting and exploring so many beautiful countries. Gradually we are ticking destinations off of our bucket list but at the same time we are adding more every single day.

We thought we would write a blog place about all the different locations we want to visit, brace yourselves this list could be long AND it may leave you really wanting a holiday we know it did us.

Maldives- Is anyone elses Instagram feed full of bloggers in Maldives? Ours certainly is and we are so JEALOUS! Maldives is definitely up there with being one of the top countries we would love to visit, those water bungalows are just too dreamy. The sea is crystal clear and they have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, we better get saving!

Sri Lanka- We are already swooning over Sri Lanka; The wildlife, the scenery and the heritage is enough to make us jump on a plane tomorrow. We would love to visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress and the Cave Temples because they look absolutely stunning. We would also visit the Yala National Park in the hope that we would see some of our favourite animals. Dalawella beach is a definite must visit as well we would love to have a go jumping from the palm tree swing!

Bangkok- Rach has briefly visited Thailand before but would love to go back and explore but this time with Annie!

We would of course visit The Grand Palace – you cannot go to Bangkok and visit the Grand Palace, the name kinda describes what it is and the picture Rach took when she was there makes it look very opulent and beautiful.

We have heard so many things about the Khaosan Road, good and bad, but we really want to see what it’s all about! Apparently the shops are really good and you can buy souvenirs and the famous elephant pants for really cheap! Not to mention eat crickets, worms and whatever else tickles your fancy and enjoy an alcoholic beverage or two at one of the many bars. Damnoen Sadua (floating market) is also very popular in south east Asia and we visited one in Vietnam, so would love to go to the famous Damnoen Sadua in Bangkok.

Bahamas- Okay so we will be honest with you ever since we watched the Mary-Kate and Ashley film ‘Holiday In The Sun’ we have wanted to visit the Bahamas! The Bahamas has the worlds third largest barrier reef so we would of course have to go diving during our visit. The Bahamas as made up of lots of different islands 700 to be precise so we would definitely need to do a bit of research to ensure we pick the best, although we are sure none of them would disappoint!

Abu Dhabi- We have wanted to visit Abu Dhabi ever since we watched the Sex & The City movie- how incredible did it look! We have both been to Dubai and absolutely loved it so we have a cheeky feeling we will also love Abu Dhabi and a bonus is it doesn’t matter when in the year we visit because they have sunshine all year round. We would love to visit the desert.

London Bucket List

Sometimes its just nice to write things down, we feel that when we write things down we will actually do it, so we have decided to write our London bucket list. Despite living in London, we sometimes feel that we take it for granted and do not appreciate the amazing city we live in. There are so many things we want to do in London and by writing them down, hopefully we will one day we will be able to tick all things off the bucket list. We apologise its a very random list!

We also have a long long list on the notes section on our phones (we have become addicted/reliant on our notes!) of places we want to brunch, but we won’t share that one with you as it will ruin our Brunch Series posts.

Let us know if you would recommend these places, or what we should add to the list!

1) Climb over the O2 – we have wanted to do this for ages and ages so will definitely be climbing over this iconic building soon

2) Dalloway Terrrace – this place looks like bloggers paradise and the food also looks divine. Check out their Instagram and you’ll want to visit too!

3) Madison – based at St Pauls with views on London we really want to go here for a drink or two

4) Run the London Marathon – now this is probably our most crazy idea on the list, but its something we have always wanted to do. We enter the ballot every year with no luck, but hopefully one day we will get the chance to run the marathon.

5) Sky Garden – this is free to visit with beautiful views on London. Crazy that we haven’t been yet, maybe Christmas will be a magical time to go.

6) Bottomless Brunch – we aren’t really fussy as to where to go for this, but we have never attended a bottomless brunch so this is a MUST DO!

7) Ministry of Fitness Class – as if you can go to Ministry of Sound for a fitness class. How amazing would the atmosphere and workout tunes be!

8) Swim in the Serpentine – so they use the Serpentine in Hyde Park for triathlons but you can also pay to swim in a small section of it yourself. Its only £4.20 for adults, and although does look quite disgusting, it would be something very different to do!

9) Afternoon Tea Bus Tour – b bakery offer the opportunity to sit on a London Bus that takes you on a tour of London whilst eating afternoon tea, how amazing does that sound! The same company also offer a gin lovers tour, we could be tempted!

10) Watch the sunset from Primrose Hill – we love Primrose Hill and its so easy to get to from Baker Street. A lovely walk through Regents Park, past ZSL London Zoo and up the hill and boom, the most stunning view of London.

11) Go for a run through Richmond Park – we love Richmond Park, and once went on a walk through the park to see the deer, we really want to run through the park.

12) Go to Protein Haus for a smoothie – we have followed these on Instagram for a while now and keep meaning to head to Canary Wharf to try one.

We know we shall be adding to this list as the months/year/blog goes on!
